Jim Kever Chairman
Mr. Kever is a founding partner of Voyent Partners, LLC, an investment partnership which was founded in 2001. Mr. Kever is also a director of Transaction System Architects, Inc., 3D Systems Corporation, Luminex Corporation and Tyson Foods.
Ed Braswell Director, CEO
Ed Braswell is the Founder, CEO and President of edō Interactive which he founded in June of 2007. Prior to edō Interactive, Ed was President and CEO of LINK2GOV Corporation that was acquired in 2005 by Metavante, now Fidelity National Information Services (NYSE:FIS). Prior to joining LINK2GOV, Ed served as Senior Vice President of Global Sales for Premiere Technologies (NASDAQ-PTEK) where he managed a worldwide sales organization. Ed’s professional experience also includes executive level sales management with Centigram Communications Corp. (NASDAQ-CGRM) and ROLM, an IBM Telecommunications subsidiary. Ed currently serves on the Boards of FactorTrust and MyPaynet.
Tom Bevilacqua Director
Mr. Bevilacqua is the Managing Director and Group Co-leader, Information Technology at VantagePoint Capital Partners. Tom has more than 25 years of Silicon Valley experience as an executive, venture investor and advisor to emerging technology companies. Tom was an Executive Vice President of E*TRADE Financial, where he served in a variety of operational roles and established E*TRADE’s acquisition and investment strategies. While at E*TRADE, he founded ArrowPath Venture Partners, an early stage venture capital fund that was later spun out from E*TRADE, and served as the Managing Partner of that firm for over seven years. He was previously a Partner at two of Silicon Valley’s leading law firms and has served as an advisor on more than 200 public or private financings. He is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley (Business Administration) and the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (JD).
Matthew A. King Director
Mr. King is the Managing Partner of FCA Venture Partners. He currently serves on the Boards of My Office Products, Inc., HCCA International, Inc., ProfitPoint, Inc., Proxsys, LLC, New Day Pharmacy, Inc., Dollar Texas Properties, LLC, ProMedTek, Inc. and The Thalerus Group, Inc.. Mr. King also serves on the Board of Trustees for Wake Forest University.
Benedict Rocchio Director
Benedict joined Baird Private Equity in 2000 and concentrates on investments in the Business Services sector, with an emphasis on information services and financial technology. Benedict is a current member of the board of directors at ALI Solutions, Arroweye Solutions, edo Interactive, Fellon McCord, High Street Partners, Sittercity, SnagAJob and StartWire. He has also worked directly with 15 other investments of Baird Private Equity, including Axcelerant, HireRight, NimbleGen Systems, and PayChoice. Prior to BVP, Benedict worked for KPMG LLP in the information, communications and entertainment group within the assurance practice of the Chicago office, where he focused on the software and telecommunications sectors. He received his BBA, with a major in Accountancy, from the University of Notre Dame. Benedict is a member of the Illinois Venture Capital Association, Irish Angels and Chicago Children’s Museum Auxiliary Board.
David M. Wilds Director
Mr. Wilds is Managing Partner of First Avenue Partners, a private equity firm based in Nashville, Tennessee. First Avenue was an early investor in iPayment, Inc., where Mr. Wilds was a director until it was taken private. He was also a director for Dollar General for over 15 years before its privatization, and he continues to sit on the boards of several First Avenue investments and non-profit organizations. Prior to founding First Avenue, Mr. Wilds was a partner with J.C. Bradford & Co. from 1969 to 1990.
